The Arzobispado de Pamplona is home to the Archivo Diocesano de Pamplona. Since 2009, this has been my primary archive, and each time I go back, I stumble upon ever more projects. The rich materials in this well-cataloged archive have “introduced” me to wandering priests, sorcerers, witches, amnesiac pilgrims, agotes, priests obsessed with bullfighting, and priests who dressed up as livestock in order to sneak away from their demanding parishioners. And of course, my seroras.
