Bronze age dolmens dot the Basque Country and Navarre. Most likely used as burial sites, in most cases only their arches remain today. This one’s name, Dolmen de la Hechicera – the Sorceress’s Dolmen – evokes the mystery of these ancient memorials, and connects them to a rich folklore of witches and rural magic in the Basque lands.
